Mobile Phones Bandwagon Expecting More Competition

Due to huge potential of the market, more players are eager to enter the luxury phone business. Mobile phones makers like Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and LG are now expecting stiff competition from the world-renown watch and jewelry makers.

Luxury watch brand Tag Heuer have announced that the company will begin selling mobile phones carrying its label from the second half of the year, and other luxury fashion brands such as Prada and Giorgio Armani, which also sell watches, have already hopped on the mobile phones bandwagon.

As for Tag Heuer, they choose to delve into the mobile phone business through a collaboration with ModeLabs Group, which custommakes phones.

Aside from the favorite Nokia phones, Filipinos can hope to see and choose to buy phones labeled with Tag Heuer, Prada and Giorgio Armani. With the entry of more luxury phone brands, mobile phone price per unit is expected to down and become affordable to the average Filipinos.
