Smart Communications Inc., had launched a pioneering Internet phone service aptly called Plug N Talk, targeting some 10 million Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).Plug N Talk is the country’ first USB (Universal Serial Bus) communication device that allows parties outside the Philippines to call and text fro Internet-connected Personal Computers (PCs) to any local mobile and landline number using their Smart Subscriber Identity Module (SIM).

This service will allow all Globe prepaid subscribers without credits, and Touch mobile subscribers with only Ph1.00 load to send free text messages to other Globe and TM subscribers. FreeTxt is mainly created as “the emergency texting solution”, which makes it ideal to use during urgent situations.It is best when a Globe prepaid subscribers ran out of load and needs to send an immediate reply to a very important text message. Please Do Not Ignore Smaller Denomination Coins

Most of us Filipinos today are now ignoring to accept smaller denomination coins such as 1 cent, 5 cents and 10 cents, or using it to pay products and services.How many times you saw jeepney drivers refused to accept fare in coins with 10 cents? How many times you went to a store and store owners refused to accept your holed coins because they are reportedly not accepted by bigger businesses such as gas stations and supermarkets? And how many times you saw people laughed when they received 1 cent, 5 cents and 10 cents? These are only few scenarios that the smaller denomination coins were ignored and perceived as a kind of joke.
